I think most of the people who know me are probably aware of this but I've been in love with this character since I was a teenager and always wanted to have my own cosplay. This is almost three-decade long dream, and it's all coming together THIS YEAR!!
Hokay!!! Half glued! Superglue should have finished curing tomorrow and then I can fill in the joints with epoxy.
Today's spotlight on is Camper, Blooper's brother. He’s a Shawn Keller (the godfather of toony suits) creation, but a new version was created a few years back, again by @yippee.
Camper is kinda the opposite of his brother, being all about sports, the outdoors, camping, hiking and "classic” things.
Even though they moved in with me separately, I decided it’d be more fun to have them get into trouble together, in tandem, and so if you see one of them, you’re likely to see the other.
Furtannia: The History of the Furry Fandom in the United Kingdom is back on @AmazonUK .
It's also available at @Waterstones and @bnbuzz .
So it's all good, for now.
Just a quick note to new Mastodon users:
Remember, there's no algorithm pushing hateclicks to you incessantly here, so you actually determine what people see by what you like enough to boost.
The control we always wanted more of there, actually exists here, but more control requires a little more input/effort on our part.
Adding text to photos takes a few more seconds, but it's very helpful to visually impaired users.
Mastodon will likely appeal more to those who want to help make it great.
Just realised that there's less than 9 weeks until #ssbfieldday. Should start thinking about what stuff I want to take now that I have a car and can drive myself. :)
Finally got myself a #DJ flight case for my mixer and CDJs. I'm going to have to make up some custom power and audio cables, but once done I will be able to just put one box in the car rather than multiple boxes!
To anyone thinking about joining BlueSky, especially artists: everything you post is used to train generative AI models.
BlueSky uses AI to label content for moderation, and to do that they use a company called https://thehive.ai. If you look through their privacy policy, you will see that they all content sent to them to train models for all their services, which include generative AI for both text and images.
It’s a built in “feature” and cannot be turned off.
CW for media: nsfw, domination, restraint
I do want to share this piece of wonderful gift art from Devlin (pictured as the victim).
Devlin surprised Epoxy, so got a nice thick coating of glue for his trouble! It's best to leave Epoxy alone when she's

You don't need to use the official Mastodon apps, they're not the best way to use Mastodon. The official apps only arrived last year, and they were intended as "Fisher Price My First Mastodon" things with a restricted set of features.
Third party apps have been around longer than official ones, and include way more features. You can sign in with the same account on all apps.
On Android try Tusky, Fedilab, Megalodon, Tooot
On iPhone/iPad, try Toot!, Ice Cubes, Ivory, Mona
Gluing pieces together using glue and once it's cured I'll go over the joins with some epoxy before starting on finishing!
