Touched up another old Deluxe Paint thing from the very early '90s. This was a side view Golf game, kinda like artillery games, but Golf. I couldn't figure out how to code the bounce physics though because I was barely a teen. Thinking about it now, I'd probably make a collision map memory structure rather than trying to read pixels. It's how Pinball Dreams did it afaik.

Finally booked a hotel for MCM London in October.
Should hopefully get to meet Steve downes and Jen Taylor in costume. Which will be *frikkin sweet*
It has been an utter NIGHTMARE getting that hotel tho.

Gonna work on my odst gloves and Spartan laser for the occasion.

This was a good weekend! @Talcott and I hung out and got to do fun aura dog videos and photos!!

I missed #fursuitfriday again. 7-day work weeks don’t mess around… anyways, @Talcott helped me make the Pokémon UNITE cape! On to the hat next!!

I got bored and decided to recreate the old BBC1 ident from the 80s. It's not as great as I would have liked (had some trouble trying to make the sphere transparent to see the other side, a la the original ident) but it's passable!

"WBC" stands for "Wolf Broadcasting Company" because I am very predictable.

Something to be mindful of working with spandex, it will reveal every tiny sin in your underlying base. So the first step was to do a cleanup pass, smoothing edges, filling seams, getting any tapers I wanted.

I also sprayed all of the EVA foam with white plasti-dip. This helps smooth things out a little bit, but more importantly it more closely matches the green foam. The darkness of the EVA actually would show through the spandex.

This is also where I took a major misstep. In many fursuit WIP photos, you'll see a masking tape pattern applied to the base, which will be used to make the fabric patterns.

Even though I draped up to this point, I thought the patterns might be helpful. Unfortuately, masking tape sticks to plasti-dip REALLY well. Not only did I destroy the pattern pulling it off, I also tore out chunks of foam. I had to do my best patching this up with white silicone.
