The UK is going to ban 'XL bully' dog breeds. But the problem with those dogs isn't with the breed itself; it's with people who get them purely as a status symbol. The kind of person who gets a status dog isn't the kind of person who will train their dog properly. If they can't get an XL bully, they'll get a different "well 'ard" dog, such as a rottweiler, German shepherd or doberman - and then we'll see an increase in attacks from those breeds.

One thing that has distracted me from art lately is making my own set of #SlimeVR trackers for #vrchat

It was a fun little challenge and I'd been itching to do an electronics thing for some time.

Raw material cost came out at about £170: not counting labour time, frying £20 worth of components, and the extra tools I had to buy. But this is compared to a base station setup which would set me back £600 as I don't have lighthouses.

In VRC they do well enough. Once you have the mounting calibration down, their position is close enough, but they're not gonna be pinpoint accurate like Vive/Tundras. Especially if you're doing funky rotation heavy poses like that leg stretch pose.

I've been learning Marvelous Designer. I've made clothes and costumes in the past so it was very easy and intuitive to pick up. Retopo is easy as it exports in the flat pattern too. I made a lil cheerleader dress as practice :)

This was mine: the A600 Lemmings pack with Lemmings and Delixe Paint III. Many happy hours spent with both and I have an Amiga 600 again these days.

It looks like Allister Brimble has been commissioned to write a new theme for OpenRCT2.

(For those who don't know -- OpenRCT2 is an open-source remake of RollerCoaster Tycoon 2.)

Before this Allister Brimble wrote most of the soundtracks for RollerCoaster Tycoon 1 and RollerCoaster Tycoon 2. That, of course, was twenty years ago.
