Something about this animated short felt so comfy to me. And it's about a goat going to concerts and I'm a goat who goes to concerts youtube.com/watch?v=v8A0VI-xaB

Just finished updating my code for the Pimoroni badger2040. It now uses the new Pictographsics library, allowing for .jpg images to be used! I also made it more modular so it's easier to iterate on 😊

NHS, impending puberty blocker ban

NHS England is planning to stop doctors prescribing puberty blockers to trans children and youth – a de facto national ban on PBs for under-18s, except for a handful of long-term research participants and those whose parents are willing and able to pursue private options (a “loophole” which I expect will then be closed off in due course)

A consultation on this policy proposal closes this weekend (29 October), so if you live in England, please take the opportunity to comment here:

Facebook is digital colonialism. They enter a developing country, flood their telecoms networks with ‘technical support’ in exchange for making Facebook ‘free’ to use.

The other websites that Facebook includes in their “Free Basics” programme are other American corporations and very little local content.

In some places (like Ghana) the content isn’t even in the local languages, and in other places the free content is pro-Government, making Facebook complicit in spreading propaganda. How is that empowering people to access the bounty of the Internet? It is not.

Zucc has responded to criticism of the Free Basics programme by saying that “some Internet is better than no Internet”.

I would rather have no Internet than a Zucc-controlled Internet.

Now more than ever, please support the artists in our fandom. The climate feels more disheartening than ever and it sucks seeing people suddenly thinking using AI art is fine because funny meme or whatever.

Available for Firefox, Chrome and others.

I've been using this on Firefox :firefox: for quite sometime now and it works great!
