I learned that Tyson Tan, the artist that, among other things, did the KDE and Krita mascot, also designed a mascot, Libbie, for LibreOffice, but the mascot contest was cancelled because stuff wasn't "professional enough" or something. BUT all his art was available, thus, I took inspiration by this (outdated) project https://github.com/sdomi/libbieoffice and set my own Libbie Splash & Icons with his artwork.

Big ole mech

The end of the dream was kind of like one of those walk around haunted house experiences. Cyber Gomora was stomping towards me down a train aisle and I thought "ooh maybe I can touch the suit body a little on the shoulder". I moved out of the way as they came past but instead they grabbed me and held me against them. It was super vivid.

I thought it must just be part of the act but the hug was super firm and they just kept on hugging me and I hugged them back just before I woke up.

Wow just woke from a weirdly intense and kinda nsfw dream. Managed to write down a lot of it before I forgot but I'm gonna be processing it for a few days, including the big firm affectionate hug I got from my favourite kaiju of all time, Cyber Gomora (from Ultraman X).

Samantha is totally a child of the late 80s and early 90s and absolutely adores turn of the decade cars. They're a rednecky Suth'rn American butch lesbian who just loves bein' a dude. Jean based the car in that reference off the Volvo 480 which is the kind of weird turn of the decade car "Sam" loves. The car's a shitbox, but it's her shitbox, and she keeps it in good running shape.

Seriously though, fedi was *built* by furries, trans and queer folk, disabled neurodivergent people.

This is *the reason* the culture here is what it is. Why CWs are a thing. Why image descriptions are a thing. Why privacy matters here. Why moderation tools not only exist, but are usable — and used.
