Happy Friday folks, I managed to find an app called: "AudioCD" which now lets me control my audio cd playback on my Acorn A4000. So I'm gonna do a bit of soldering, some Circuit Python (making a Macropad) and relax to Nirvana - MTV Unplugged. 😌

Developers and PR people, please take note: this is a text-book example of the correct response to a researcher reporting they were able to gain access to your internal systems. GivEnergy responded almost immediately to @ryanc's private report, fixed the vulnerability in less than 24 hours, and was transparent about the cause when a reporter asked about it. Most companies are too concerned about saving face to candidly explain how the vulnerability happened and come off as defensive and opaque as a result. If GivEnergy served San Francisco, I'd probably choose it for my upcoming solar project because I had confidence they care about the security of my system.

Korva Luna's new battle-suit!

This was challenging to design, mostly because of the big wings and tails... The suit is somewhat inspired after Samus' Metroid armour, but I tried to give it a draconic-like spin.
Those wings are full of energy if I understood it right, and they can be used as shield, so they're also enhanced with additional energy shields!

Last commission from July, a very fun picture to make!
I've been trying to study how other artist use colors in their pictures, and I've been experimenting a little more myself with some cool contrasts... I think I entered my "mangenta+blue" era hahaha, but I can't help it sometimes, space stuff looks so cool!

I designed this armor a while ago, it was challenging to include the character's wings, since they're hugeeeee! but I think it works in general, also the many tails with full armor.

this character has enough internal energy to power an armor and shields by herself I think, which is cool!

I posted about it in January on my previous account, and now it’s official: the .internal TLD is now reserved for LAN networks internal DNS by ICANN, and they won’t accept applications to register it for the web

A reminder that using .local is bad practice because it’s used by mDNS/Bonjour who unfortunately appropriated it without asking anybody. It could cause issue with some appliances that rely on mDNS.

You can use anything else, like .lan, there’s nobody forcing you to use one thing or another, but since .internal is now designated for that purpose you might as well use it
