Happy Friday folks, I managed to find an app called: "AudioCD" which now lets me control my audio cd playback on my Acorn A4000. So I'm gonna do a bit of soldering, some Circuit Python (making a Macropad) and relax to Nirvana - MTV Unplugged. 😌

Developers and PR people, please take note: this is a text-book example of the correct response to a researcher reporting they were able to gain access to your internal systems. GivEnergy responded almost immediately to @ryanc's private report, fixed the vulnerability in less than 24 hours, and was transparent about the cause when a reporter asked about it. Most companies are too concerned about saving face to candidly explain how the vulnerability happened and come off as defensive and opaque as a result. If GivEnergy served San Francisco, I'd probably choose it for my upcoming solar project because I had confidence they care about the security of my system.
