September 15th will be the 30th anniversary of the release of the film "Hackers".
Not the best plot, but I love the music, the aesthetic, the sheer enjoyment the characters get from their computers and the net.
The day before is a Sunday, so a good day to re-watch it :)

Zhis one ended up much more Goya zhan Reynolds so I dunno maybe he visited Spain. Also I was going to paint Guy Johnson but I couldn't get the ears right
These were an outlet for me, a way (at the time) for me to express and affirm my werewolf self, and I'm so glad to have them and to also have had some friends at the time who weren't weird about me wanting to play this all the time 💜🐺🌕
Chatting with other werewolves made me wanna dig out my old Werewolf The Apocalypse RPG books. I've had these since I was a teenager. ^^

I didn't think I would have to explain this on the Fediverse, but since I am still seeing people finger wag about the Waymos:
Google and Waymo are legitimate targets. They flat out said they would be providing footage from their cars to the police and other agencies. Disabling those cars is an act against the belligerent combatants themselves.
If tech wants to become Trump's new panopticon supplier, they can and should be under the understanding that they aren't neutral third parties.

The website timeanddate.com has this info. Looks like it's gonna be September before I see the full moon again, unless I drive somewhere high enough to see over the hill that I'm on the north side of!
Was so excited to see the full moon last night but it was so low over the horizon (only 7.6°) that it wasn't visible where I live.
Need to find some sort of trajectory projection so I can find out when the moon is going to be visible again. :p

did you know that the raids being conducted on gay, queer and lesbian bars in NYC during the weeks leading up to stonewall were illegal?
the laws against homophile drinking establishments and gathering had been repealed, but the cops were raiding them anyway and shaking them down for bribes too.
no cops at pride goes all the way back to the beginning: stonewall was instigated as a reaction to police power abuses.
