Having your own website is cool beans and I highly recommend it. It's so good, when someone asks 'where can I find your thing about XYZ again?' or 'what's your Pinstagram username?', to be able to reply 'just go to farty-bumsplat dot com; it's got all my stuff and links'.

Yeah, a Carrd or something serves this purpose, but your own webspace is the best because you can do what the fuck ever on it.

Healthy little reminder that there is no "right" way to transition. Whether you start at 13 or 30, choose to present immediately or gradually, change your documents or not, start HRT or don't, or even have an idea of what transitioning looks like for you for a majority of the time is all valid.

There are plenty of folks 5, 10, 20 years down the line that are still figuring things out. There are plenty of folks that get any number of top or bottom or plastic surgeries of all kinds. There are plenty of folks that meet hurdles and have to stop for a while, or can't get what they need yet. There are plenty of folks that never stop discovering themselves, because life goes on.

If you are thinking of transitioning, or even just considering evaluating your gender identity, do yourself a favor and put yourself first. This is *your* life. No one can tell you the "right" way to live it.

I woke up this morning and spent a while looking at clothes to make myself sort of a cyber goth witch look and it made me happy. 💜​

what operating system (or linux distro) do you use on a regular basis?

I've been noticing over the years people mentioning feeling like interactions on the internet aren't real... That their internet persona is an instragrammable cardboard cutout that is profoundly alienating.

And here I am pretending to be a dragon on the internet and feeling the least alienated and most authentic I've ever felt because I am not having to pretend to be anyone or anything I don't want to be.

Look, you know that polished version of yourself you present online is bullshit. Everyone knows it is bullshit. You know everyone knows that it is bullshit...

So why bother with plausibility? Go wild! Have fun! Be a dragon! Be an eldritch horror with a form that cannot be comprehended by human minds. Whatever takes your fancy. Because what you're doing right now is just making you sad.
