hi hello

so I'm normally notified by my local council about tax I have to pay, it tends to fluctuate a bit despite benefits. but this month I couldn't log into the site until recently and I didn't get any notification until today and it's due to come out automatically on the 15th; it's the 12th as I'm writing this so I would extremely appreciate the help making sure I have that in my bank before I get into an unarranged overdraft.

additionally I need help topping up my electricity meter as it has gotten concerningly low.

the council tax payment is £60, and I need around £50 for electricity, so £110 in total. lost my job earlier this month too so this suddenly happening extremely sucks lmao

We need a word for real-life enshittification caused by online culture. Like being unable to find an organisation’s info because they’ve Instagram but no website. Or panicked people being sent a videolink to download to their phone when they ring for an ambulance. Or being excluded from residents' association news if you're not on Facebook. Or having cash payment refused. Or staff in the business you’re physically standing in telling you to find the answer to your question on their website.
