I do...have very, very meagre hopes of this doing anything meaningful. The UK Petitions system is mostly a way for the government to say "ah, no, see, let us explain our position again because you clearly don't understand" in a way very familiar to anyone who's tried the same through corporate employee feedback/Q&A channels. But conversely if you're a UK citizen or resident the actual data requirement you need to give is small in scope.
In better news, Lush is standing up.
I even bought a bath bomb - I don't do baths... And there is a leaflet I will look through soon. I said thanks to the staff for having the display
This is worse than the message written on Peco track claiming it's not a toy. YES IT FUCKING IS ADULTS ARE ALLOWED TO HAVE TOYS. AND NOT JUST ADULT TOYS.
Play is good, actually. Maybe the kinds of toys you have change, but let people be honest about enjoying things. You make model parts. They're toys, and that's good. They just have a minimum reasonable age limit.
One of the good things in sex positive communities is embracing that you have toys and you play. It's a healthy and honest attitude that you should take to other spaces. (Smuggle in good consent practices while you're at it)
Been feeling really pretty in this kaiju form~ ❤️ https://computerfairi.es/@renbymon/114387217281044359
I've been experimenting with good and fun ways of doing two-way file transfer between Mac OS 9 and my Linux file server. FTP and HTTP work fine...but what about Hotline? Turns out there's a great open-source server written in Go!
And then I noticed there are actually public Hotline servers online with gobs of useful content?! And having a casual chat with random people on Hotline?! Party like it's 1999!
