Having spoken to some other women it looks like I experienced postpartum-like depression, which for me was a paranoid episode on Monday night. This was brought about by me rationing my HRT to make it last until I can afford some more. Bad idea in hindsight so back to my normal dose and working out how to get more HRT sooner.
