Spent the past few weeks testing the effectiveness of keeping the house at a constant 18°C 24/7 or only running the heating when we're in.
Turns out that we use the same amount either way so we might as well just leave it set for the extra comfort.

It started like this: "I’m a developer for a major food delivery app. The 'Priority Fee' and 'Driver Benefit Fee' go 100% to the company. The driver sees $0 of it. I’m posting this from a library Wi-Fi on a burner laptop because I am technically under a massive NDA. I don’t care anymore."

Went to replace the drain/trap under the kitchen sink (belfast type) and it was on so tight that it broke while removing
When we removed the sink waste we discovered that it was the WRONG size for the sink and the previous owner had just bodged it in place with loads of silicon sealant and a metal plate. 🙃
now we need to get a replacement waste for the sink
