Finally got seen. They do not judge it as an emergency so they'll return me back to my GP, which isn't until Tuesday.
@Nine Nope, just that it wasn't their level of emergency so I go back to my GP.
At least I have an appointment on Tuesday rather than the 29th (which is what I would have had before the drop-in nurse requested they see me sooner).

@salith Don't suppose they said why after all that time? :( Like, it's definitely an abcess right? And if it's causing pain and making it harder to eat, do daily tasks, and affecting your quality of life, surely that would count as an emergency right??
