Intriguing discovery as I got back to work on my airbrush painting, this time with regular brushes—on a cotton canvas surface, gouache and casein behave a LOT like oil. Like, a lot. Which makes me wonder if a lot of my assumptions about oil (which I only started using recently) had more to do with the surface than with the paint itself. sometimes i think my rp group is criminally underrated despite most of them being high school kids.
... and other times i remember that i really am the loser senior student hanging out with the fob first-years
often i fear that i am just being Too Chatty and am polluting local/fed tls with my enthusiastic nonsense, but then i remember that if there is anyone out there who is a bird in human form, it's me. *i* am the one who has short but intense bursts of socialization before running off to look for food and eat for 5 hours straight
my rp group will have a session in 14 hours... i'm probably gonna liveblog screenshots whenever someone makes a good comment, heheh. (otherwise, things would get lost SO easily -- the first session alone is like 150 pages in ms word 😰 )
