@holyspiritomb @squirrel I still use gedit3 8 hours a day to write code. It's not *that* bad. Definitely to be preferred over atom or whatever.

Well, unless you try to run it on macosx. Then none of the funky gnome3 tablet-friendly stuff works at all well :D. This was part of my case to move to linux at work, so a blessing in disguise.

@lupine @holyspiritomb i am guilty of preferring atom for webdev because of its autocomplete, especially for css

@squirrel @holyspiritomb I found its autocomplete unhelpful, but I think it's mostly a matter of the language you're in. Ruby is hell for autocomplete generally; maybe CSS is less so.

The only autocomplete I've ever *enjoyed* is that bundled with delphi. Object Pascal is where it was at 20 years ago.
