uhh i went to register squirrelbun.life on namecheap and it said the subtotal was $2
then i clicked checkout and
the subtotal was $50
what the fuck namecheap?
@squirrel .life is on sale at the moment, the discount gets added at the total not the subtotal IIRC
@troubleMoney i don't remember if the box i saw was subtotal or total (and i can't check anymore cause namecheap just went down lol) but it was the same box and the value in it changed between pages
i think it's only on sale if you get it 1 year and if you try to buy it for 2 years they say fuck it to the sale, even for the first year (it said "retail $25/yr" below the "$1.88" so it adds up)

Normally namecheap are okay so I'm not sure what's going on with that
