@turbodragon and just like this, the 1990s (if you ignore the eurodance scene) also sort of reinvented the less electronic tones of the 1970s
i'm not gonna go ahead and say the cycle is always 20 years but after something gets dated it most likely will become cool again in the future
@turbodragon not to mention the popularization of synthwave which is a bit more obviously rooted there
