haha it moved right after i took the picture
managed to log into my modded server, see one frame of rain with no terrain loaded, then it got stuck on that dirt background. gonna open up an unused laptop to see if it has compatible ram
crud, ThinkPad had 2x1gb rather than 1x2gb so i only managed to get it up to 3gb
upped java ram to 2gb for minecraft and trying again to load the server
@squirrel holy crap that's using a lot of memory
@InspectorCaracal i give modded mc a full 3gb on my main desktop which has 8gb

@InspectorCaracal nah the video settings don't affect the menu, i downloaded a mod the does (custom main menu i think it's called) but thank you
