What's the best game console of the 
generation?
(I consider the dreamcast and the saturn both to be part of this console generation, for what it's worth.)

It doesn't exactly belong in a discussion of the ps1, but it clearly doesn't belong in a discussion of the ps2 or the xbox (and Sega's exit from the market is the really is what allowed Microsoft to enter it. MS cribbed so much from sega, right down to the controllers.)
@ajroach42 ms didn't crib just the controllers, they cribbed the Dreamcast's engineers :p
