i remember in the 90s someone told me that rats will pee on the tops of cans before they go out to stores.

ever since then ive always had this thing where i wash the tops of my cans before i drink out of them.

i dont even know if that person was right; it sounds plausible but it coulda just been '90s Hearsay™'
