the nice thing about the bbc micro is that it has a Texas Instruments SN76489A soundchip which is almost identical to the ones found in the Sega Master System/GG

the only difference being the way the sega clone chips generate random noise, the fact that said chips were integrated into the consoles video display unit, and the gamegear having stereo audio output
