(I know, because it's not actually practical no matter how neat it is, but :-()

@ajroach42 mmm it works perfectly (apart from the firewire ports apparently, unless that was actually a fault with my mini-dv camera, which i can't confirm either way) and i did post on mastodon with it once! (osx 10.4 and tenfourfox) but yeah it's not much more than a glorified dvd player and it had to be moved away to fit a trinitron pvm on my desk for video games
