@squirrel That world be Eclipse Phase.
@drwho tabletop rpgs sound like something i'd enjoy if i had people to play them with and liked numbers
@squirrel Have you ever had a chance to try one?
Have you listened to letsplays before?
@drwho i want the role play without the game part
@squirrel It really depends on the system. There are some rules-lite systems that don't have any crunch (like Wushu and Amber Diceless), and there are some systems that are math-lite and can be pretty easily run as rules-lite (that's how we run Storyteller games at home, and to a lesser extent EP).
Play style is different from play rules.
@drwho i will literally never experience any of this
@drwho it just won't happen? a lot of things in this world won't happen
@drwho sounds great, i'm glad!
@squirrel I thought the same thing, once. I was pleasantly surprised.
Running games online is totally a thing. My EP game has been going since v1 was released, and now has players in four states. We use Skype.
