@squirrel oh cool xD I was gonna say, I think they're *essentially* the same, but C++ has some additional built-in functionality on top. Most C code will run fine when compiled as C++, for example, I think. (Don't take me as an expert, I flunked out of comp sci)

@squirrel (the only advantage I have is that I flunked out of comp sci before all the comp sci programs here switched from C++ to java <.< >.>)

like i guess Arduino compiles cpp but I've never used anything outside the bare c instruction set
