I dunno, monoculture is a dangerous thing and contempt is a valid tool to combat it.
But yes we should have less vitriol towards actual people.

Monoculture is a serious problem.
allowing a capitalist distributor to gain political power by taking advantage of their own market share is bad news in any industry. Please consider helping "Fossbros" in servicing and distributing community owned software.
Or not, I dunno.

Im very interested in the hardware you are running, I am not aware of any audio /video drivers that dont work out of box on debian save for bleeding edge latest gen.
If you are interested, I could assist you in installing debian/ubuntu

@colon_three @squirrel your still giving microsoft valuable assets by opeining your machine and data up to their remote connections and subscribing to their tools and release model.
@squirrel you are stil pitching in to microsofts contorl over the computing market because you still follow their release model, their perscriptions for security patches and updates, and your computer+data is still a remote resource of microsofts.
Microsoft hasnt cared about people pirating windows in years, its how they hold on to their market share.
