ok so but

wasn't sugar rush already an internet-connected arcade game?

how come the arcade owner's computer looks like it's the 90s when sugar rush was a very mid 00s arcade game

i sooort of get the feeling that this might be another one of those sequels that loses sight , somewhat, on what made the sequel so popular? i mean it's just a trailer ok but. i kinda saw more "sequel-level jokes" in this trailer than in the whole previous movie ?

like the first one was about gaming tropes over the ages and "what if the game villains felt sad that they were unloved in the game and had a therapy group about it at night" and stuff

this seems sort of like.. a way to just, do jokes about the internet in a way reminiscent to early-mid 90s vr movies?

idk

i hope i'm wrong about this impression i'm getting but

that's the impression i'm getting

here's hoping it's just a slightly crap trailer tho?

also what are the implications for this

even 80s arcade games can access the internet if you plug it into the same power strip as a router?

what else does this mean for the wreck-it ralph world

suddenly airgapping computers becomes a lot harder if you have to like.. ensure it's on a totally separate power circuit

@kit i mean

the power strip thing happened in the first one, it's a bit late for that

@squirrel but they didn't explicitly say that lets you hop onto a different network! it was always just "the one power strip network"
