hey -- is everyone in witches town aware it will go down by april 30th? because i think some people still aren't, and, like, maybe absolutely everyone should understand that
@squirrel there's like 2,400 ppl on WT https://instances.social/list/old no one wants to simply take over the hosting? Or that isn't on offer? The person is giving lots of warning and seems to have a caring nature. You'd think they'd hand it on to some long time user willing to take on the (what? 10 bucks a month?) fees for the server.
It ain't gonna be me though (the straight cis middle aged white dude who finally got around to looking up the word "enby" a couple of hours ago).

There are lots of masto instances and making them is fairly cheap :-) As you know -- having your very own!
Life is short and masto makes it very easy to mute or block ppl, which ends the drama in a dramatic fashion. :-)
