@theimmortalsanta Hi Immortal. Hope you don't mind me calling you that in lieu of any other identity atm.
I'm sophie, hence the handle sophieactual 'cos this is my account that I share occasionally
*very occasionally*
*be quiet*
*hmph*
with a couple of our alters.
I sort of feel in the mood for writing, so will do a thread on my very personal take on why I'm plural. It'll wander a bit, so will put it under a CW, and anchor it with #dreamingsophie to keep it together.
@theimmortalsanta As @flootist said, @ravenjade is very approachable, from my perspective anyway. Also @diodelass will blow your mind with how quickly they traverse stuff.
And check in at plural.cafe if you feel like jumping in the deep end, lot of good people there, but the inherent jargon may be a bit overwhelming.
@sophieactual @flootist Hi! Thanks so much for taking the time out to help me. I usually go by Sy and they/them pronouns (although I'm starting to realize I have headmates that go by different pronouns and names that I'm not 100% sure on yet. I'll definitely be sure to check out the DSM-5, it'd be nice to have some info like that. Also fast isn't necessarily a bad thing, I could always ask for more clarity on things if I need π
@sophieactual hi again, and that's completely understandable. Thank you for the warning about that, I'll make sure to be careful whenever that comes up, so far I haven't seen anything mentioning it
@theimmortalsanta @flootist Hi again Sy. Life got suddenly complicated for me but there was something that I wanted to ask. If you run into tulpa theory, which is probable, could you be very careful? Circumspect even? It's a lot easier to navigate the Mexica Tol landscape or Voodoo synthesis of plurality than the recent developments of tulpamancy. Its reverse vampirism is quite hard to extricate yourself from.
