discovery season 3
season 3 has literally had every episode be: "discovery comes to a new place expecting a warm welcome, oh no everyone's a jerk."
and like there's a way to do that story, where discovery, already traumatised, has it compounded by the constant rejection. but no, they don't even mark it they just keep showing up places being like "hey you're thrilled to see us right?"
ST: Discovery is so frustrating. Like some of the ideas are very cool but they're executed so poorly. the writing is stilted, unnatural. people with chemistry are not together often. ugh

ok listen, i fucking hate harry potter and jkr, but "Sirona" is the name of a traditional Celtic pagan goddess, and Ryan is a pretty common Celtic last name too. it's an unusual name in North America but its etymology is pretty firmly celtic-feminine
i say this only as there might be irish trans girls who would choose "Sirona" as their name, not to defend the game itself

I've been writing a lot lately, which is good, but I'm also still very much unemployed. Or maybe it's just cause it's spring and everything is alive again. Either way, looking forward to it! Here's one for you:

we've been letting ourselves get extremely fuzzy. not shaving even our facial hair. we're really trying to pull of creature looks.
sometimes it's a little dysphoria inducing but other times it's a little euphoria inducing.
still getting reused with the texture.
we think, maybe we let ourselves get hairy in the winter and not in the summer, like having a winter coat and a summer coat
despite the lack of external windows, my current room is bigger than the last one and the french doors provide a good view through the living room into the outside so we don't feel as claustrophobic as we used to
