@troubleMoney I'm an American, but I feel pretty much the same way about the Superbowl.
...and, you know, sporting events in general. "Woo, this bunch of people were better at thing than this other bunch of people, so now... civilization is saved?"
...and my English grandma would sometimes mail me a 45 RPM single of the winning song, so I got the highlights without having to sit through the rest of it ^.^
(I still have those singles.)
