just got a (what felt like 240 V??) shock off the corner of a metal shelf that has a crt monitor on it. spent 5 minutes probing around with a multimeter connected to ground and i couldn't find shit. in fact the shelf seems to be extremely well grounded. so maybe IM the one whos yknow. at 240 V

its good to be told ive got potential hHAHAHa ahahaa hehehe . .... ... . hah seriously though what the fuck, im scared to touch anythin now

although idk why im that worried, ive owned a korg polysix for 4 years and THAT sometimes decides to put out a 240 V spike from the trigger input socket

as they famously say: "its not the volts that kill u. its the watts and also whereabouts they are flowing, which u cant really know since the electricity does that fractal tree nonsense as it goes through parts of you that randomly have more or less amounts of salt in". thats the famous quote. pithy

@jk British plugs have 3 wires in, a green and yellow one for ground because the ground is covered in green and/or yellow stuff, blue for neutral because blue is a nice calm neutral colour, and brown for live because that's what colour your trousers go if you touch it
