i constantly hear like, people on the internet who may or may not be paid to say this, that wi-fi sucks and you need to buy some kind of special router and/or access point because it doesnt reach your kitchen or whatever. is this actually a problem that exists in reality because in my experience wi-fi is an amazing technology that pretty much always works perfectly. do americans just have houses that are too large? or is it not even that, is it just a made-up problem to sell shit

Also a fair number of the all-in-one router/switch/ap boxes provided by ISPs are shite
