With the fediverse being a reasonable size and mid-term elections coming up in the US it's not unlikely that certain groups may try to weaponise the fediverse in the same way that they've weaponised facebook and twitter

Luckily we can do things about it here

If you see accounts breaking CoC then please report them, all us mods will do our best but we can only take action when we know that there's action to be taken
