I've been wondering, all these products sold with big "Proudly made in <country you live in>" labels, does anyone else avoid those as much as possible?

I know what the average Brit is like and fuck off do I expect them to make anything that actually works

@troubleMoney
I proudly avoid products with "Proudly made in <any country whatsoever>" labels. Fuck nationalism.

@troubleMoney I like the country labels on things like vegetables so I can avoid stuff that has been flown around the world, but on anything else it's weird (esp. if it's with a flag, which the Made in Germany signs usually don't have)

@troubleMoney From what I've heard, "Proudly made in the USA" generally means made in sweatshops and/or by prison labor. So, yes. I tend to avoid those.
