Let's start our own moonshot prizes.

Crowd fund bounties on the successful production of open knowledge based solutions to the problems that actually affect the people in our communities, rather than the problems as perceived by people who can toss around millions of dollars on a whim?

Say it takes twenty years for one to get claimed. That's possibly one more real solution to an actual problem than we'll currently have figured out twenty years from now otherwise, and over twenty years it could conceivably be a hefty prize financially, if the whole thing were structured well up front.

Somebody do this, please.
