@noelle there are theories that musk wants to tank the stock price through this so he can afford to take the company private which he's apparently wanted to do and he would still be able to remain CEO of a newly private tesla

I very much doubt that's the case but musk is certainly dumb enough to come up with that sort of stupid plan
