For some reason (capitalism) Black Friday is also a thing in the UK

We don't have thanksgiving, today isn't even a bank holiday, but it's black friday all the same

@troubleMoney Canada does have a stat hol for thanksgiving, but it's in early october - and doesn't really mean much to most people.
Just the same, my inbox at work was flooded with black friday offers today.
