it fucking rules that google has a larger training set of machine learning data than any researcher from 40 years ago could even have imagined in their wildest dreams and it still sucks shit at visual recognition because machine learning is a complete failure
thats right i said it: machine learning has utterly failed at every task that has been set before it and the only reason it continues is because of an ideological commitment to the discipline

@troubleMoney @dankwraith it did also generate meme text that was fairly indistinguishable from what humans produce in another variant (if this is actually so remains to be tested, students masters thesis is still underway)
