@mplouffe@scholar.social it's more 1.5 stories, nice big airy dining area in there

two-story hedgie structures could be fun though, assuming the daft lil critters can figure out stairs

@sydneyfalk @mplouffe@scholar.social oh they can all move plenty well, they're just not the brightest of the animal kingdom

@sydneyfalk @mplouffe@scholar.social the cats just occasionally look at them with an expression of "why is this cactus moving?", haven't had any problems at all with the cats going after them

@sydneyfalk @mplouffe@scholar.social it's dogs that are usually more of a danger to them, luckily we don't have any around here that aren't on leads

I know a lot of people aren't in places where these critters can be seen so I like posting them for everyone

These ones are all European hedgehogs, so they're not representative of what you'd see from the African Pygmy variety that are more commonly kept as pets but they're just as adorable

@sydneyfalk @mplouffe@scholar.social well, I'll just have to post loads of pictures of the ones we have come 'round!

@sydneyfalk @mplouffe@scholar.social oh it's no trouble at all for me to post pictures up whenever I get some good ones

@sydneyfalk @mplouffe@scholar.social oh we do very, very little to it, it's just water the pots and the beans if it's getting too dry out there, could probably rig that to some sort of raspi-powered irrigation system or something for even less effort
