changing your port number is the single least effective security measure you can take. it's like covering your house number to avoid being broken into.

@Jo @troubleMoney @InspectorCaracal Yup. Right after I started moving sshd, I'd see an Nmap on the box, and brute force attempts picked up where they left off. Fail2ban helped a lot.
