damn weird how doctors measure blood pressure in millimetres of mercury

no wonder nobody understands blood pressure readings

for reference ideal blood pressure is 12-16 kPa/8-10.6 kPa in far more commonly used units

@troubleMoney As if the common layperson knows their ideal BP is supposed to be 0.1184308 - 0.1579077/0.07895386 - 0.1046139 atmospheres

@noelle from the "ghosts in yer blood, do cocaine about it" days of medicine

@noelle I'd have thought that by the time you were directly comparing the pressure of blood and other other stuff around you then you've probably got bigger problems like "why is my blood directly exposed to the surrounding environment? there's meant to be some body stuff in the way"

@noelle @troubleMoney Including the mercury is still kinda odd tho, specially when bar or hPa exist🌀
