@izzy primary purpose of the AGM was to take the information on where it is and work out which rockets needed to fire and for how long during manoeuvring to keep the whole shebang on track

as for what your phone charger is doing, according to spec it's negotiating with your phone how much power it can send, in reality I'm not sure I'd want to know
