let's try and fit this totally overkill cooler into this tiny case because I wanna see if it fits

but first, some stress testing with the stock cooler

turns out it's perfectly adequate. let's replace it

especially considering that you lose some of the depth to the hard drive mounting "solution"

also my friend who gave me this cooler has decided to bring me the CPU and RAM I'm actually gonna try and run with this so I don't have to mount it twice

I won't be able to do a direct comparison but y'know

uh, I'm not sure if I'll be able to fit the cooler in here, the graphics card is pretty close to the CPU

I might end up cooling the GPU's backplate with this

update: the cooler doesn't mount on the board lol

we put in the faster CPU and RAM regardless

update: my friend is close to throwing my computer out of the window because my board is cursed and doesn't go into the UEFI setup unless you perform a ritual of unplugging, the replugging the drives beforehand

okay so now I have no overclock because with it the CPU doesn't get power limited and overheats under load, but I now have 16GB RAM, twice the amount I had before at significantly higher speed

followup: if you mount the cooler correctly, it works!

this tiny case is now officially filled to the brim with parts

yes, that fan is right against the RAM
