The right to free speech is the right to say what you want without repercussions from the government
The right to free speech does not require anyone to give you a platform to spout your shit
The right to free speech does not require anyone to listen to your shit
The right to free speech only applies to repercussions from the government, not other people, groups, or organisations
@troubleMoney I try to explain it as such: freedom is speech doesn't mean guaranteed access to other people's press. And, freedom of speech isn't freedom from social consequences of said speech.
@UberGeek @troubleMoney I look at it this way. If you are using speech to directly harm another then it's not freedom of speech. It's wrong doing.
@troubleMoney when people pray at the altar of free speech, I just get the urge to laugh. thinking that repeating the magic words "free speech" will do anything is just absurd. they don't have any meaning beyond the power of people to enforce them, and no one's doing shit to enforce them here.
