The National Trust posted a promotion for a Mother's Day cream tea
They included a picture of said cream tea
The venue is in Cornwall. A Cornish cream tea has the jam below the cream
The picture they posted had the jam above the cream, which is a Devonshire cream tea
This has caused widespread outrage

Granted this is sort of a soft, comfortable "ah I'm used to this sort of terrible Englishness" shame and embarrassment. As opposed to "what the bleeding hell is going on with this fucking country" shame and embarrassment I've been feeling a lot lately
