@Jacki@radical.town just wandering past, not that i've dommed in a hot minute, but if you ever come to a point where you want that constant input and feedback there's a system that i've found helpful - this doesn't replace a safeword but it i think is a good additional system (especially if your sub is like WHY DO YOU KEEP INTERRUPTING ME) - wow this is not many characters hol up 1/?

@Jacki@radical.town have a signal that your sub knows is a check-in - i was doing some sensory dep shit so for me it was a tap on the shoulder. just something distinct that can't be missed. and whenever you do that, it's basically a check-in, i just went with a stop light system. green = everything is amazing please keep going. yellow = keep going but modify (not so hard/not there/etc). red = FULL STOP, equivalent to safe word. end scene immediately, straight to aftercare (2/?)

@Jacki@radical.town it worked pretty well and can probably be refined for sure. if you're ever working with a sub where they're like "for this scene it's kind of an aggravating thing to have you sincerely asking all the time, can we do something that will keep the fictional setup more in place", maybe consider something like that. it gives that option for a lot more feedback still so that everyone is comfortable, but in a way that's maybe slightly less intrusive.(3/3)
