@Tenshi@yiff.life i know what you mean. i think it may be a function partially of masto as a whole having less people in it.

i think it also might be a cultural thing of masto being decentralized? whereas twitter is everyone all in one room, masto is more like parlors and dining rooms.

so i guess with the above the fix is mostly to do some of the social grist-in-the-mill work of circulating around, introducing yourself in various spheres, and so on. couldn't hurt, anyway?
