anyway ya gurl is totally going to get banned from a subreddit today most likely

mention of animal abuse, in which a wigglytuff explains why the mods of /r/justnoMIL are probably gunning for her

but honestly

"thank you everyone for being so mature and giving me unwavering support and not saying i'm an animal abuser about my last post where i described hitting and throwing a puppy"

nah no thanks i'm not interested in letting that slide no matter how many cutesy little passive-aggressive remarks you make about it, OP

of course this same poster in this same bit went on about how it was so hard for her and she talked it over with one of the mods before baring her soul and it pains her so much

and i actually do have a lot of sympathy for the OP in question. it was a bit of a set-up by her dumbass husband and MIL who thought "oh sure a puppy isn't any extra work for a mother with a newborn", etc.

however

r/justnoMIL brands itself as being a support sub

and i think this only works when there is the option to call others out on egregious shit.

otherwise, it just becomes a circle jerk of enabling bad behavior. part of 'not being a justno' is being ready and willing to entertain the idea of being wrong (instead of always being right on absolutely everything all the time).

so yeah i'm kinda going in hard on this OP because i think being physically violent and abusing an animal is something you need to address professionally as soon as possible.

it doesn't mean one incident makes you a bad terrible person for life, but it's a big enough problem that you can't DIY it. to try and DIY it is irresponsible.

but the OP dismissed the idea of professional help with saying she doesn't need "happy pills" - thanks for dismissing needed psych meds and reducing psychiatric care down to a bad stereotype i guess? - so yeah, that initial sympathy is still there, but my continued sympathy for current behavior has well and truly evaporated

and for this i expect a mod in my inbox soon L M A O

but also holy fuck this lady thinks the problem is solved now that she "knows she needs to not assume SO is a mind reader and ask him for help"

listen not to be all hashtag misandry but

if your partner doesn't think "maybe she could use some help juggling a newborn child after a rough birth, as well as all household tasks like cooking and cleaning, and also also this new beagle puppy i just got her", THAT'S NOT A FAILURE ON YOUR PART FOR NOT INFORMING HIM

HE'S JUST AN ASSHOLE
