newcomer to fashion server: it's just so hard, i'm really out in the middle of nowhere

newcomer: south london!
me: oh, are you far away from a bus stop so you can't access public transportation then?
newcomer: lol no there's one like 20 seconds from my house
me: ....
me: excuse me. pardon everyone. excuse me. just need to step outside for a moment
me: [ 15 MINUTES OF INVECTIVE-FILLED AMERICAN YELLING ]
seriously though can you. can you imagine. twenty seconds from a bus stop that hooks in directly to other public transport such as trains, subway, and other bus lines. and living in one of not just your country's, but the *world's* most important cities and cultural centers.
and they feel oh so isolated and alone.
meanwhile here i am, unable to drive, which in america means: welcome to being a shut-in! commuter trains don't fucking exist in the south! atlanta may as well be in another state!!!
